Times of Trouble – Find the Solutions

September 11, 2011

(Lamar, CO) 2011 – Oris George has a new website. After a crashing impact of maintenance gone awry, the Oris George website (http://orisgeorge.com) has been updated, changed and created in a more streamlined, sophisticated style that better represents his skilled writing and talented essay presentations. As George continues to reveal the happenings along the back roads, sharing tidbits of life and his love of mules, he readily states (emphatically at times) that new isn’t always better, but in this case, the site loads faster, looks crisper and will better represent his efforts at streamlining and achieving his writing goals.

When times of trouble strike, we’re often pulled toward the breaking point, thinking, “I should just give up!” but those are the times when we should take a deep breath, open up our hearts to God’s wonderful blessings and stand up tall so we can take them all into our lives. As I look back at the events that unfolded ten years ago today, I think of all the many ways I’m blessed.

I won’t forget the fallen, the maimed, the injured or the families of those who were. But, I will continue to trudge forward, in their honor, to fulfill the dreams God has awakened in me.

I’m blessed in the simple ways of home and family, health and good spirits. But in ways I can’t even appreciate fully, I’m blessed even more that I have the ability to overcome the struggles of life and turn them into blessings, gracious benefits and gifts from the Lord Almighty and his tender, loving hand. I’m reminded of the values I share in my writing, and of the life I’ve lived, that even when troubles come, solutions follow.
