Shlei (aka Leah Posey Patton) has been drawing since she was a year old. Even from that start, her favorite subject was equines. Horses, donkeys, mules, and now those same animals are available in clipart-collections – 31 sets of them! Her art has been featured in magazines for many years, and currently her newest medium, base-ball card sized watercolors, are popular with collectors all over the world. More than 2000 of these tiny works ( 2.5″ x 3.5″) have been created and sold to France , England , Canada , Japan , Australia , Germany and beyond. Her inspiration has always been her own equines, which currently consist of Draft horses including the only US born Mulassier, draft and saddle mules, a half-bred Poitou donkey, and standard donkeys. She makes her home in Texas with her family, both two- and four-legged.
