I’ve noticed

Americans are notoriously hard to divide along class lines. With the exception of professors of sociology (who knows exactly where in the upper middle class they fit) and a few billionaires–who hope they are middle class, but have a horrible fear there may be a real aristocracy hiding somewhere in Chicago, Dallas, or Denver — most of us have only the vaguest idea what class we belong in.

  1. Class…is an interesting distinction. It’s Royalty in a Palace, it’s the movement of a Cougar on a stealth hunt near a sleeping rabbit. It can thread through a play executed with professionalism, talent and meaning. Class can describe an economic sector as mentioned in Oris’ fine words above or it can emanate from a debutante or prom queen as she glides across the dance floor.

2012 has filled my days with a myriad of ‘class’…mostly. I am blessed with a ‘class’ of enduring and Loving friends and family…that live in my memory forever.

Thank you, my friend, for your touching post above.
