A skunk and a stump

Last night a skunk made his presence known in our yard. This morning I was thinking about skunks and I remembered this tongue twister was one my little brother had trouble with. A skunk sat on a stump and thunk the stump stunk, but the stump thunk the skunk stunk.

Awesome (the word)

Awesome is a word that seems  to me is over used. Will someone explain to me why this word is so popular? I talked with six people to day and heard the word “awesome” eleven times .
